Good to know
Is BMI accurate for everyone?+
BMI is a fast screening tool, not a diagnosis. It doesn't distinguish muscle from fat, so very muscular or very lean people can score outside the 'normal' band without a health concern. Use it alongside a body-fat % or waist measurement for a fuller picture.
What counts as a healthy BMI?+
For most adults, 18.5–24.9 kg/m² is considered the healthy range by the WHO. Above 25 is associated with higher risk of weight-related conditions, and a licensed physician can advise on what applies to you specifically.
Does BMI decide if I can get GLP-1 treatment?+
BMI is one input a physician reviews alongside your full medical history — it isn't a pass/fail cutoff on its own. Take the assessment to get a proper review.
